About the role
Time Commitment: 20-30 hours/week, short-term project
Our team is looking for VA-accredited Veterans Service Officers to help evaluate and improve AI systems on veterans benefits topics. You’ll use your claims experience to check that questions sound like real veterans and families, and that answers are correct and useful. Accuracy comes first. No AI experience is needed; your domain knowledge is what matters.
Scope of Work
• Review sample veterans benefits questions and flag any that don’t sound like what real veterans or family members ask.
• Write rubrics that define a correct, complete answer on service-connected disability compensation, including filing a claim and the evidence involved.
• Cover dependents and survivor benefits (such as DIC and CHAMPVA) and appeals and decision reviews in your rubrics.
