About the role
Our team is engaging Inpatient Medical Coders to contribute to a valued project focused on enhancing inpatient clinical coding accuracy and data quality. In this role, you’ll apply your facility coding expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input.
Scope of Work
• Review inpatient medical records to ensure accurate ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding in line with current guidelines.
• Determine the principal and secondary diagnoses for the full admission and assess how MCCs, CCs, and procedures affect DRG assignment.
• Review clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness, and flag opportunities for provider queries.
