Join us in shaping the future of robotics data. As a Robotics Researcher, you’ll work at the intersection of robotics, embodied AI, and data—researching and designing the datasets, collection methods, and evaluation frameworks that power next-generation robot learning and perception systems.
You’ll collaborate with leading AI and robotics teams to translate frontier research challenges into high-quality, scalable data solutions for real-world physical AI.
What You’ll Do:
• Research the data needs of frontier robotics, world models, and physical AI systems.
• Design new datasets and collection methods across egocentric video, teleop, UMI, robot trajectories, sensors, and simulation.
• Define data schemas, annotations, ground truth, and evaluations for areas like manipulation, navigation, spatial reasoning, and physical understanding.
• Run experiments to understand what data and structure most improve model performance.
• Work with leading AI and robotics labs to turn research needs into scalable data pipelines and products.
• Stay current on frontier research and use it to shape Our team’s robotics data strategy.
What You Bring
• 2–5+ years in robotics, computer vision, multimodal learning, embodied AI, or applied ML research.
• Strong understanding of robotics/physical AI and multimodal data.
• Ability to translate research problems into concrete datasets, experiments, and specifications.
• Strong technical communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Degree in Robotics, CS, EE, ML, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Bonus Points
• Experience working at a leading robotics, AI, or autonomous systems company or research lab.
• Hands-on experience with embodied AI datasets, imitation learning, teleoperation, or robot learning pipelines.
• Experience designing or working with multimodal robotics datasets, including video, sensor, trajectory, or simulation data.
• Hands-on experience with robotics hardware, sensor integration, or rapid prototyping.
• Familiarity with data collection and evaluation for manipulation, navigation, spatial reasoning, or world models.
